Abstract

|
|
These studies were conducted to compare the interaction of oriental herb drugs and western chemical drugs when they were administrated together on the same experimental animals. We choose Kang HwalYouPoong-Tang as oriental herb drugs and several
antihypertensive drugs(Hydralazine, Atenolol, Fueosemide, Hydrochlorothizide) as western chemical drugs.
@ES The results were following;
@EN 1) The efficiency of KangHwalYouPoong-Tang showed the hypotensive effect in mice, but any significance was not noted, and revealed no significance with the heart rate.
2) The efficiency of combined administration of KangHwalYouPoong-Tang and Hydralazine to hypertension reduced that of administration of Hydralazine and increased the tachycardial side effect of Hydralazine
3) The efficiency of combined administration of KangHwalYouPoong-Tang and Atenolol to hypertension predominated over that of individual administration of Atenolol and increased the bradycardial side effect of Atenolol.
4) The efficiency of KangHwalYouPoong-Tang showed the tendency to increase the diuretic volume in mice, but any significance was not noted.
5) The efficiency of combined administration of KangHwalYouPoong-Tang and Furosemide remarkably controlled the diuresis of Furosemide.
6) The efficiency of combined administration of KangHwalYouPoong-Tang and hydrochlorothiazide revealed no significance in diuresis of Hydrochlorothiazide
